1. Location/Shuttle Service
Q: Where is Aonang Phu Petra Resort located?
A: The resort is located on Aonang road in Krabi where it takes only 3 minutes to the beach/ restaurant/shopping areas by resort shuttle bus and within walking distance. (15- 20 minutes approximately by walking)
Q: Does the resort provide shuttle service to the beach or shopping areas?
A: Yes, we provide FREE shuttle service to the beach or shopping areas hourly from 8:00 AM. - 9:00 PM. Timetable can be downloaded below your right hand side banner.
Q: Where is the meeting point with the driver?
A: McDonald in Aonang is only the meeting point from and to the resort.
Q: In case of I don’t want to follow your schedule. How much will you charge me?
A: THB 100 baht per room per way must be charged.
2. Check in/Check out
Q: What are the standard check in and check out times of the resort?
A: The standard check-in time is 2:00 p.m. and check out is at 12:00 at noon.
Q: Is it possible to check-in earlier?
A: It is sometimes possible to check in earlier, however, this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Q: Can I have a late check-out?
A: It is possible to have a late check out; charging is, however, required in some certain circumstances, as following detail: Late check out before 2.00 p.m. is free of charge upon availability; Late check out until 6.00 p.m., an additional room night shall be charged at 390 baht per hour, upon availability; Late check out after 6:00 p.m., an additional room night shall be charged at the regular room rate.
Q: What should I present upon check in?
A: We need your reservation voucher, all passports and credit card for guarantee your stay.
Q: Do you have bell boy service?
A: Yes, we do. He will carry your baggage to rooms.
3. Travelling with children
Q: Is a babysitting service available?
A: Yes, we have babysitting service available on request @ 490 baht per hour. Please inform us at least 1 day in advance.
Q: What facilities are available for children?
A: Special children menus with light dishes as well as high chairs are available at our restaurant. The poolside may be used only under parental supervision.
Q: Are baby cots available for the rooms?
A: Baby cots are available upon request free of charge.
4. Restaurant
Q: Where is breakfast served and at what times?
A: Breakfast buffet is served at the Sila Petra Restaurant on the 1st floor from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Q: How many restaurants and bars do you have and what are they?
A: We have 1 restaurant and 1 lounge at the resort.
Q: Is vegetarian cuisine available at the restaurants?
A Selection of vegetarian dishes is available upon request.
Q: Is a special menu available for children?
A: Yes, we have special menus for children
Q: Do you have 24 hour room service?
A: No. It is available from 10:30 AM. – 09:00 PM. only.
Q: What time does restaurant close?
A: 11:00 PM. Last order will be until 10:30 PM. in High and Peak Season, 10:00 PM. Last order will be until 09:30 PM. in Low Season
Q: Do your serve Halal food?
A: Yes, we do upon request.
Q: What kind of food available at your restaurant?
A: We served Thai food and International food.
5. Swimming Pool
Q: What is the time of opening and closing swimming pool?
A: Open: 8:00 AM. Close: 7:00 PM.
Q: Can I extend the time of closing the swimming?
A: We do not suggest you to extend the time due to your own safety reason because there will be no swimming pool attendance after its closing time. However, this is flexible by informing our reception.
6. Rooms
Q: Do the rooms have private balcony?
A: Every room has private balcony.
Q: Can I access to the internet in rooms?
A: No, it can’t. It will be available only at Lobby only
Q: How many people can stay in one room?
A: Each guest room is per room per night for 2 persons and it can be accommodate a maximum of three or four people. 3rd and 4th person must be incurred additional charges.
Q: Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
A: We do have twin rooms. The 3rd person who needs extra bed and is put into triple bedroom cannot ask for any rollaway bed inside because the bed has been already attached in the room. Such attached bed is granted to be extra bed automatically. For the 4th person, you can buy rollaway bed. However, the resort reserved the right to put our guests to any bed type due to limited rooms.
Q: Is there a safety deposit box available at the resort?
A: There is a safety deposit box in every guest room. There are also safety boxes available at the Front desk. They are available free of charge. Kindly put all your valuable belongings into safety box during your stay because of safety reason.Please note that we are not responsible for any losses from your own carelessness put your valuable belongings in the safety box but close it improperly or not put those in the safety box.
Q: Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Hairdryers are available in the drawer every guest room.
Q: Does the resort offer smoking/non smoking floors?
A: All our rooms are non-smoking. We ask you to smoke only in the areas provided.
Q: Doest the resort provide DVD player in room?
A: DVD Player is provided upon your request. Please contact Front Desk.
Q: Do you have laundry service?
A: Yes, we do. Laundry bags and order forms are located inside closet in your room.
Q: Do I have to drop key with you?
A: For your convenience and safety, please return the key at reception counter every time you go out and please use main entrance only. Please keep your key in the safe place while it is with you and do out forget to return the key upon your checking out. Key loss or broken will be charged at 3,000 baht. For safety reason, we need to change the whole set of it, not just the key.
Q: Can I request adjoining room or next to each other:
A: We can accommodate as per your request. Please be noted that it cannot be guaranteed and is subject to room availability upon your arrival.
Q: Can I dispose sanitary napkins or tissue paper in the toilet bowl?
A: Please DO NOT dispose of any sanitary napkins or tissue paper or non-dissolving items in toilet. It causes toilet clogged made a flushing impossibility
7. Telephone
Q: How do I ring room to room calls?
A: Please dial the room number desired. You may also call the Front Desk, dial 0 and give the name of the party you wish to call.
Q: How do I call to local calls?
A: Please dial 9 followed by 075 and the number desired.
Q: What about International calls?
A: For overseas calls please dial 9+001 followed by the country code, city code (without “0”, if applicable) and number desired. Charges for telephone calls are calculated according to the computer printout and are automatically charged to your room. Please note, that every minute started will be charged as a full minute to your account (international calls).

Q: Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the resort?
A: Yes, you can. The tour desk located at the lobby area. Excursions are available to all the main tourist attractions. Please book at least 1 day in advance.
9. Airport Transfers
Q: Can I make airport transportation with you?
A: Arrangements for private Airport transfers can be made at Front Desk. You can also pre-arrange any transfers by phone or email prior to your arrival. Please state your reservation name, period of stay, flight number, arrival date and time.
Q: Are Airport Transfers included in the resort price?
A: As a general rule, it is not inclusive airport transfers.
Q: What is the cost of picking up by car or van? Are reservations required?
A: Costs are varied by number of persons. It is charged at 600 baht per way per car and 800 baht per way per van. Please note that reservation is required.
Q: How many days in advance must I reserve?
A: We highly recommend you to make your reservations prior to arrival at least 24 hours if possible.
Q: Are your vehicle non smoking and air conditioned? How many seats available?
A: All vehicles are non smoking and air conditioning. Capacity is up to for up to 8 passengers by van and up to 3 passengers by car.
Q: What will happen if my arriving flight is delayed?
A: To inform us in advance for flight delay shall make us a well-preparing to pick you up. Should we receive no delay information, we shall wait up to one hour after the scheduled arrival time of the carrier. After this time we shall try our possible hardest to transfer you to our resort; however, costs that actually incur are to be undertaken by you.
Q: How to notice your the driver?
A: After leaving baggage claims, please look around our driver who will present your name together with resort name at the exit.
Q: How far is Aonang Phu Petra Resort from Krabi International Airport?
A: The distance from our resort to International Airport is about 30 Kms. Traveling time is approximately 30 minutes.
